My name is Leah,
I am a young inexperienced wife, impending mother, and disciple of Christ trying to find balance in my roles as a housewife. My husband Alex, myself, and our unborn baby girl Charlie Ann make up our small growing family. We also had two little babies we lost in 2012 in heaven waiting for us. We live in a little house buried in the woods in Maine, surrounded by long winding roads and the orchestra of nature. I stay at home, preparing our little home for the oncoming arrival of our baby, while Alex works hard to provide for us.
We both have a passion for children, especially troubled children and have been praying about adopting in the near future. We both love writing, photography, good food (primarily bacon), reading and watching movies together. Our goal in life is to find beauty in the simple things, and share that beauty and joy with the world. I personally have a love for learning new things and finding opportunities that allow my creative juices to flow (that being said; Pinterest is the best invention and I am more than slightly addicted to it). I enjoy cooking, organizing, and crafting, and finding amazing deals that save us money! I love being creative with the little we have.
My heart is to share with fellow mothers, wives and young woman what God is doing in my life and the life of my family through the simple everyday adventures that come with the territory of children and husbands.
I'm learning how to take on an attitude of servanthood, and keeping my focus on serving God even through the simple mindless chores of a stay at home mom. I want my passion for writing to inspire other woman to rise above the mundane moments of motherhood and embrace the God given call on each of our lives. I am hoping that through my mistakes, failures, life lessons and the moments my moments of success that you can cry and laugh with me (or at me- as I can be kind of ridiculous sometimes).

Leah
